Isaac Canfield

Isaac Canfield, age 35 passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2016. Isaac was born March 5, 1981, to Rosemarie (Lark) and Steven J. Canfield. He married his best friend, Mary Send, on December 5, 2005 at the Lake Ann Baptist Church.

Isaac's life was his family. Everything was about making memories and helping his family and friends. Anything from playing with his and others kids to helping a friend with their farm, he loved it all. His home was always busy with fellowship and love. Isaac saw God's love in everyone he met and all were friends to him.

Isaac worked several years for his father, before starting his own successful business. Canfield Climbing Clippers has been servicing his community since 2001. Isaac was a tractor collector and was often scoping out good deals on craigslist. He also enjoyed camping in the summer and winter, boating, fishing, hunting, and visiting his parents almost daily. He and his brother were very proud of their homestead, which they had been successful with for many years.

Isaac is survived by his wife, Mary M. Canfield, son, Uriah Steven Canfield; daughter, Tirzah Rose Canfield; son, Shemuel Lee Canfield; and daughter, Hadassah Joanmarie Canfield. Survived also by his parents, Steven and Rosemarie Canfield; and his siblings: brother, Abraham (Jeana) Canfield, sister, Naomi (David) Grasso, brother, Zechariah (Jessica) Canfield, brother, Jezreel Canfield, brother, Seth Canfield, brother, Nahum "Jack" (Valory) Canfield, sister, Abigal Canfield, and sister, Keturah Canfield. Also 16 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Covell Funeral Home, Traverse City. A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 29 at 11 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:30 a.m., at Bible Baptist Church.

Isaac was a man of love, encouragement and patience. A man called Home too early in life.
