Born July 14, 1951 in Torrance, CA to John and Sophie Nady, he was a lifelong resident of Torrance. An avid Jiminy Cricket collector, he also enjoyed watching Los Angeles Kings and Dodgers games and spending time with his family. His laugh was infectious and would always put a smile on the faces of those around him.
He graduated from North High School in 1969 and received an Associate’s degree from Long Beach City College shortly thereafter. He worked as a Journeyman Electrician throughout Los Angeles County for 35 years, with his last 10 years being spent working for the City of Los Angeles.
He was an active member of South Bay Church of God and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers - Local 11. He enjoyed spending time with his coworkers and was fondly referred to as “Shady Nady.”
Steven is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rdythe; sons, Andrew, Jarrett and wife Monique; brother, Ed Nady; sister and husband, Kathy and John Sobota; three sister-in-laws, Carolyne Holbrook, Sheron Curry, Lavonna Curry; brother-in-law, William Curry; and five nephews and four nieces.
