Ruben Jimenez

Funeral services will be held at 2pm November 7th, 2020 via Zoom.

Ruben Jimenez was born in San Pedro to Richard Jimenez and Maria Jimenez on July 31, 1963. He went to school at San Pedro High School. He married Cynthia Davey on September 23, 1989 in San Pedro. He worked for DeCarlo Bakery and Puritan Bakery for 30 years. In 1991 he started studying with Jehovah’s Witnesses. He dedicated his life to Jehovah in July of 1995 at the first convention held at Long Beach Convention Center, alongside his wife Cynthia and he served faithfully until his passing. He very much enjoyed talking about the Bible and Jehovah’s promises with anyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking trips together. He was very hospitable and loved cooking for the friends and entertaining them with stories and singing karaoke. He was known for his infectious smile and always having a positive disposition.

Ruben is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cynthia Jimenez, his son, Ruben Anthony Jimenez; daughter-in-law Heather Jimenez, his daughter, Margie Maria Galdamez; son-in-law Julio Galdamez, his mother Maria Elsa Jimenez, his siblings: Alicia Barron, Junior Jimenez (Kris), Michael Jimenez (Lena), and Anthony Jimenez. And his Grandchildren Cohen James, Walker Bryan and Daisy Jane Jimenez. And many nieces/nephews, and great nieces/nephews.
