Robert Paul Weldon of Redondo Beach, California, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital.
Bob was born in Danvers, Massachusetts on October 8, 1946, the son of Raymond and Pansy Weldon. Bob served his country during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged from the US Navy in 1969. Bob married Ann Wilkins on February 21, 1968. Bob joined the Los Angeles Police Department in June, 10, 1974 and retired January 27, 2002.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Ann Weldon, father Raymond Weldon and mother Pansy Weldon. Bob is survived by his daughters, Cheri Weldon and Gayl Weldon; his grandson, Kristofer Sanger; sisters Barbara Weldon, Norma Weldon and Pamela Weldon; brother Raymond Weldon; and many nieces and nephews.
