Raymond W. Behrens of Manhattan Beach, California died Monday, July 3 in San Diego. Ray received a football scholarship to attend Rutgers University where he majored in business. Following graduation he served as an Air Force officer in Berlin creating a vibrant officers' club. When he returned to the States Ray put his knowledge and experience to work becoming a highly successful executive insurance specialist. Ray's competitive spirit and integrity served him well in business and made him a great opponent in tennis or cards. We will deeply miss his hearty laugh, his encyclopedic knowledge of and enthusiasm for sports, and his warmth and engaged interest in everyone he encountered.
