Michael James Webber, a life long resident of Torrance, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2006 in Torrance. Born in Inglewood, CA, Michael was 43 when he died. Born on December 1st, 1962, he attended Saint Lawrence Martyr followed by South High School. He went on to pursue a career as a musician, singer and songwriter fronting the punk band "Nip Drivers".
He is survived by his father, Robert Webber of Torrance, brother, Bo Webber and sister in law Shanda Webber of Hermosa Beach, sister, Lillian Miller of Long Beach, brother, Patrick Webber and sister in law Rebekah Webber of Torrance. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, Bo, Jack, Christina, Erica, Mike, Brick, Lola, Abigail and Jeremy. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Webber. A Vigil Service will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 4:00 P.M. with a reception to follow. Inurnment will be private.
