Larry Foster Snavely

Larry Snavely left this world for another February 14, 2017. Born October 20, 1942 in Waurika Oklahoma to William and Nan Snavely, he has lived in the South Bay area for the last 64 years. Larry leaves behind his loving wife Sheila of 47 years, Sons, Joey Snavely and wife Jill of Redondo Beach and Darren Snavely and wife Kelly from Texas, and Daughters, Stephanie Brousseau and her husband David from Florida, Cee-Cee Hansen and her husband Sean, and Brandy June and her husband Ryan, both of Hawthorne.

Larry also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers Don Snavely from Missouri, Wayne Snavely from Texas and Lonnie Snavely of Gardena. Larry was preceded in death by his parents William and Nan Snavely, his brother Jerry Snavely, and his nephew Sam Snavely.

Larry recently sold his business, Jones Firewood, which he owned for 25 years, to spend more time with his wife and family that he loved so much. He will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Halverson, Stone & Myers Mortuary Chapel located at 1223 Cravens Ave, Torrance, CA 90501.
