Julia Cortez a long time resident of Redondo Beach, California, passed peacefully on April 27, 2022. She is survived by her seven children Miguel Apodoca, Elva Apodoca, Norma Contreras, Jose Cortez, Cesar Cortez, Guadalupe Cortez, and Susana Hernandez, along with her precious 22 grandchildren, who she absolutely adored and 20 great grandchildren who held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Clemente Cortez and her beautiful daughter Leticia Cortez Joseph. She is the matriarch of the Cortez family and will forever live in our hearts. She is deeply loved and will be incredibly missed. We love you, Ama. La Reina de 611.
