Reverend John Daniel Strickland Sr., 71 of Los Angeles, California was called home on January 28, 2015. He is survived by his only son, John Daniel Strickland, Jr.; daughter - in law, Oddra Bianca Strickland; his spiritual son, Pastor Lamar Simmons; his spiritual sister, Opal Allen; the Greater Mount Olive church family; the Rock of Ages church family, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015, 11am at the Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church located at 659 West Colden Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90044.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 5 pm - 8 pm at McCormick Mortuary located at 635 South Prairie Avenue, Inglewood, California 90301.
