It was like a family reunion seeing you guys again, I can't explain it, just beautiful.
Both me and Risha spent the best times of our lives with your Mom, I will always treasure them, and her. Dearest Joanie,  
    You will be missed by so many.  I don't think a person realizes the impact that they have put on so many peoples lives.  You were a wonderful woman.  I will always cherish all the memories that were made at M&M and all of our trips with the girls.  The Vegas trip, while I was pregnant and you winning at the Wheel of Fortune game, while we were trying to rush to get out of there to get our plane.  All I see, is your bright smiling face and laughter.  May you RIP, my friend and shine down on us.  I apologize for not coming to see you, but I wanted to remember you as your were.  Love to you always, until we see each other again.

Another story I remember was also from early in our relationship. As stated she loved her big dogs and wine.   Her german shepard dog passed away and she was very sad for days.  Michelle was over at her house trying to comfort her. I offered to take them out for a drink.  We went to Hot n Tot. Joanie had wine while Michelle and I ate dinner and tried to comfort her.  I think it helped. Soon she got another dog.

Back when I first met Michelle and before I met her mom (Joan) I learned she liked to garden and grow fruits and vegtables. Apparently she spent some time giving birth too and nuturing two little artichokes into adult hood.  She was very proud of them and excited to give  them to Michelle. If I remember right we had to make a special trip over to her house to pick them up. I think that was the first time I met her.... She grew them just for Michelle, Michelle loves artichokes....

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Always will remember her big smile.

Joan, you will always be with us.  I only met you a few times and always thought how blessed Michelle was to have such a wonderful Mother,  I will hold my memories close to heart and be here for Michelle.  Peace be with you.

Michelle, Mellonie & Mark and all of your family, I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss your Mom greatly. She taught me a lot, was a good friend and was always there for me. I loved how she loved people unconditionally. I told her she always gave great gifts. She laughed when I told her that and said what do you mean? She would really think about the person and the gift and even if the gift was a simple one, it was something you were sure to love. She said you are right, I do think about it when I am picking a gift. I loved her straight forward talks too. Down to earth attitude. There is so much, but these are a few of my favorite things.
