Born in Calgary, Alberta, Greg’s family moved to the Los Angeles area when he was a child. He later graduated from USC and was a proud member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. He was a skilled singer and played guitar. He loved old country music, 60s psychedelia and Irish tunes. Greg spoke several languages fluently, including Japanese, and he knew how to say, “Hi, how are you?” in about a thousand more. He enjoyed cooking elaborate meals, and was very sociable, attending Highland Games, concerts, football games, and any other events with the promise of good company. He was charming, generous, clever and funny, and never let anyone buy a drink.
