A 60 year resident of Torrance, Frances Thompson has peacefully passed away at the age of 98. She grew up on a dairy farm in Idaho, the 5th of 8 children. Fran left Idaho to work as a secretary at Boeing in Seattle, WA where she met and married the love of her life, Charles Thompson, at the start of WWII. After Charles retired as an accounting professor at El Camino College they enjoyed traveling around the country in their RV. They were happily married for 67 years. She will be missed. Fran is survived by her son Bryan (Shelly), daughter Shauna, 3 grandchildren and 2 younger brothers Wayne and Cal. A private memorial is planned.
