Eva Lafuente Barron de Corral, a gentle woman with a kind soul, died peacefully at home surrounded by her daughter Eva Yolanda and grandson Matt Corral. Born in Lerdo, Durango, Mexico, Eva was the youngest daughter of Pedro Lafuente and Maria Del Refugio Barron.
Eva and Victor's eyes first met in 1937, and after a long courtship, married on October 15, 1946. Residents of Redondo Beach since 1950 and companions in life and love for 62 years, Eva and Victor's souls have now been reunited again. For this, family and friends receive much comfort. We all agree there was no greater love in caring for each other, than that of Eva and Victor.
Eva is survived by her loving children Victor Manuel Corral, Eva Yolanda Bogart, and Fernando Corral; daughter-in-laws Jo and Veronica, and son-in-law Jim Bogart; grandchildren Shannon and Frank Jimenez, Tony and Roxann Bogart, Michael and Amanda Bogart, Matt Corral, and Natalie DeOlivira; great-grandchildren Ashleigh, Saige and Ryan Bogart; Aidan and Sophia Jimenez; and Tia Eva for all her nieces and nephews.
You are the true essence of a pure soul. You will be missed by all you have touched in your gentle, caring way.
We love you. Te queremos mucho.
