Chipi, Daniel Ramon a 25 year resident of Lawndale passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2003 in Lawndale. Born in Torrance, CA, Daniel was 25. Danny had worked for United Airlines for over seven years. He is survived by his wife Sharlane Chipi of Lawndale; daughter Laila Chipi of Lawndale; parents Jose and Pura Chipi of Hawthorne; sisters Michelle (Hardy) Mosley of Hawthorne, and Marta (Julio) Vergara of Colorado; along with his grandmother Margarita Benitez of Hawthorne and his two nephews, Cody and Nicholas Vergara of Colorado. He will also be deeply missed by his many close friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at White and Day's Manhattan Mortuary, 3215 Sepulveda Blvd. in Manhattan Beach with Vigil Services beginning at 7:00 PM in the Mortuary Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, March 7, at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 11901 Acacia Avenue in Hawthorne.
