It is impossible to give words of comfort in times like these but, knowing that there are those of us who share your pain is helpful. Many are the memories of times gone by and the moments we shared. May God grant you HIS peace that surpasses all understanding.

DaFayne, Haywood, Leonard, and Martinez, we were sadden to hear that Connie had made her transition, but just know that our  prayers and thoughts are with you during your time  of great sorrow. We have such fond memories of our childhood days on Craig Street. May you find comfort in knowing that others care and are praying for you. Remember look to the hills from whence cometh your help. Dan and I send our unconditional love and support to the Rogers family and all of Connies' friends who will always love and miss her.  Though I knew Connie much longer and much better, Dan fell in love with her, too, the very first time he met her in CA.  I am sure she brightened the worlds of thousands of people over her lifetime with her unselfish deeds, irresistible smile, and twinkling eyes.  We are deeply saddened, and we send comfort and love to all who are hurt to the core at Connie's passing.   You are in our prayers.

Everything must change as seasons come and go.  I last remember Connie when she graduated from High School in South Fulton.  I have not interacted with her since that date.  To Treasure and Dee and the entire family; I am so sorry that you have to go through this separation of your sister, mother or what ever Connie was to you.  My heart sincerely hurts for you bcause of my experiences with transition since 2009.  Four family members and I have learned that God does take care of you.  He did provide a comfortor.  Happiness and memories will return when your morning dawns.  It is different for each person.  I love all of you and I am praying for your peace and comfort.  She was a beautiful lady.

To Da Fayne (Clyde). Treasure, and all the family of Connie Rogers,  I want you to know how my heart hurt at the news of Connie's passing.  Connie was an incredible person as Da Fayne and Treasure are, and i'm continually amazed at the people from our little community that have make a powerful contribution in our world.  May God's peace and love surround you and be your comfort in the days to come.

To the Rogers Family:   Jesus said "Let not your hard be trouble...You believe in in God, believe also in Me..." Connie is in heaven with Jesus and He will comfort you in this season. Our hearts are broken but happy as well, as we will see her again! As a neighbor, growing up with Connie, I will never forget her smile.
