Colette Dolores Greer

Colette passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 18, 2015. She was 76 years old. A longtime resident of Hermosa Beach, Colette is survived by her loving husband, Denny; her children: Daniele, Denise Jarrells and husband Paul, Daryl and wife Lauren; her grandchildren: Nicole Greer-Golda and husband Mark, Brittany Ott and her husband, Chris, Ashley Greer, Bradley Greer and wife Jennifer and her precious Riley Jarrells.

Colette was born September 15, 1938 in Los Angeles to parents Bernard and Jeanne Massimino. Colette will be remembered as a kind, selfless and caring wife, mother, grandmother and most of all, friend.

As a loving mother and grandmother she enjoyed being part of her children and grandchildren's lives. She truly cherished her time with them.

She enjoyed travel with husband Denny where they created many wonderful memories. Colette retired from Manhattan Beach Police Dept. in 2004 after 21 years of service.

A mass will be celebrated on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hermosa Beach with a celebration of Colette's life following at Rice Mortuary in Torrance.
