Cindy D. Mika

A cancer warrior for over 22 years. Faced her many battles with a smile and an indomitable spirit. Gave and received lifetimes of love. Worked at Mattel. Volunteered at PV Library and Cabrillo Museum. An avid tidepooler and bridge player. Family and friends were her greatest passion. Rest now, sweetie-pie.

She is survived by Husband, Patrick Mika and Daughter, Kathryn Mika of Redondo Beach, CA, Mother, Betty Borgman and Father, Henry Borgman of Farmington Mi, Brother, Bradley Borgman of Redondo Beach, CA, Brother, Peter (Tacy) Borgman of Chicago, IL, Sister, Christine (George Mood) Borgman of Cheviot Hills, CA. Preceded in death by: Daughter, Melissa Mika.

A Memorial Service will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 11am, followed by a gathering in the Rice Lighthouse Reception Room.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cabrillo Museum in Cindy's name.
