Charlotte R. Moseley

Our beloved mother, Charlotte Ruth (Logsdon) Moseley passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021. Charlotte was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Marshall and Mamie Logsdon, the youngest of thirteen children. She was married to Fred L. Moseley Sr. for 58 years until his passing in 2004. They had three sons and one daughter, Jeanette who died from complications at birth in 1952. The family moved to California in 1955 and settled in West Torrance in 1956. Charlotte was a devout Catholic and belonged to St. James Parish in Redondo Beach. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and served the church in a number of functions. Her love of family and faith in the Lord were her highest priorities. Mom loved to cook and sew. She also enjoyed supporting her sons in all their sports activities. That tradition continued as she would attend all functions and sport activities involving her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed immensely by her family and a very long list of friends.

Charlotte is survived by her sons Fred Jr. (Cathy), David (Nadine), Greg (Deirdre), grandchildren, Rachel White (Lance), Justin Moseley (Jessica), Courtney Thomsen (Brandon), Sean, Gabrielle Moseley, great- grandchildren, Rylee, Charlotte White, Jordin Moseley, and Theo, Miles and Stella Thomsen.
