Rennie Jr., Charles John, an 85 year resident of Los Angeles County, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2010 in Torrance. Born in Los Angeles, CA, July 19, 1922, Charles was 88. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the Navy in the South Pacific Theater. Charles attended USC, worked for Northrop as an accountant for 37 years and was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church. He was an avid stamp collector, an accomplished baker and followed USC football. He was a member of the South Coast Botanical Gardens and was a member of their Cactus Club.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irma Rennie; daughter Cathy (Mike Godina) Rennie of Huntington Beach; sons Dr. Charles J. (Dr. Terry Nakashima) Rennie III of Rancho Palos Verdes and Richard (Angel) Rennie of Mission Viejo, along with two grandchildren.
