
Gaynor, Bravet Earl, a 40 year resident of Redondo Beach, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Torrance. Born in North Carolina, Bravet was 78 when he died. Bravet attended the Beaufort County Public School system and graduated from S. W. Snowden High School. He received additional training in the U.S. Army, where he served in the United States and Korea. Bravet was a member and lead usher for the 9AM service at the Redondo Beach Church of Religious Science.
He was employed as the Business Manager for Rev. Eikerenkoetter of the United Christian Evangelistic Association for approximately 40 years.
He is survived by his loving Wife, Serena Hill-Gaynor, Son, Gregory Gaynor of Brooklyn, NY, and Daughter, Sharon Gaynor of Durham, NC. Grandson, Kori Gaynor, and granddaughters, Candace Gaynor and Morgan Gaynor. Great-grandson Tyrese Gaynor. Survived by Daughter-in-law, Pamela Andrews-Gaynor and Son-in-law, Brook Johnson. Also survived by sisters, Sidney Gaynor of Brooklyn, NY, Martha White of Brooklyn, NY and Sybil Gaynor of Virginia, brothers, Robert Gaynor of Brooklyn, NY and William Gaynor of Montpelier, VA. Preceded in death by Mother, Frances Gaynor and Father, Stephen Gaynor, and son Morris Gaynor, brother, Christopher Gaynor and sister Delilah Adams.
His body has been entrusted to the Whitfield and Whitley Funeral Home, 312 Martin Luther King Drive, Washington, NC 27789. The Service will be held at St. Francis Missionary Baptist Church on March 20th at 2 PM. Located at 1325 Maules Point Road, Blounts Creek, NC 27814.
His remains will be cremated.
