Preston, Bonnie Jean, a 56 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2008 in Torrance. Born in Missouri, Bonnie was 71 when she died. Bonnie was a member of Crenshaw Baptist Church.
She is survived by her Daughters, Terri and Diana Monllor of Lawndale, CA; Granddaughter, Angie (Giovanni) Pellegrino of Lawndale, CA; Grandson, Joey (Cari) Monllor of Lakewood, CA; Grandson, Lester (Shana) Monllor of Lawndale, CA; Granddaughter, Desiree (Mike) Gower of Lawndale, CA; Granddaughter, Jean Marie (David) Fares of Hawthorne, CA; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 5 siblings: Jimmy, Shirley, Ed, Butch, and Mike. She was preceded in death by her Husband of over 50 years, Jerry Preston; Parents, Clifford Dooling and Louise Hieber, and Brother Larry.
A gathering of family & friends will be held at White & Day Colonial Mortuary in Redondo Beach on Tuesday April 15, 2008 from 4 to 8pm. The Service will be held at Crenshaw Baptist Church in Torrance on Wednesday April 16 at 1pm. Burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
