Antonio L Follo

Follo, Antonio Luis, a 40 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at home. Tony was born in Naples, Italy in1923. He immigrated to the United States in 1960, where he met his wife Marilyn in 1961 in Pasadena. He worked at Maria Regina School for over 20 years and touched many lives there over the years. Tony was a member of St. Catherine Laboure parish for over 29 years and served there as a Eucharistic Minister. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Marilyn of Torrance; daughter Marie (Gabriel Hopmeier) Follo of Germany; sons Philip (Judy) Follo of Texas and Thomas (Jovita) of San Jose; along with ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held tonight, Thursday, March 9, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at White and Day's Manhattan Mortuary, 3215 Sepulveda Blvd. in Manhattan Beach with Rosary Services beginning at 7:00 PM in the Mortuary Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 10 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 3846 W. Redondo Beach Blvd. in Torrance. Burial will follow with procession to Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. A reception will be held after the burial at White and Day's Manhattan Mortuary in their Reception Room.
