Born in 1985, Andrew was a graduate of the College of the Desert, a sustained Dean's List recipient, who achieved dual Associate of Arts degrees. Andrew's interests were diverse and wide-ranging, balancing his "techy" nature with a love of the natural world. He enjoyed the beach, mountain biking in Arizona, and hiking in and around Palm Desert, achieving several local peaks, including Mount San Gorgonio. He signed on with the US Navy in 2011, serving proudly as a force for good in the world. Andrew posted to England in 2013, and is remembered by his fellow sailors as an outgoing companion who enjoyed tourism and adventure.
Andrew is survived by a loving family and many friends, including his mother Jacqueline (George) Kovacs of Redondo Beach, CA; father Clayton (Lalaine) Campbell of Rancho Mirage, CA; grandparents Len and Joan Cox of Payson, AZ; and Gladys and Albert (deceased) Campbell of Beaumont, CA.
