Allie L. Kelly

Born Allie Lorean Perry on August 4th 1925 in Stonewall Oklahoma and died on September 29th, 2012 at the age of 87. She was number seven of nine children born to James Edward Perry and Nora Usrey Perry. Allie married Walter W. McGuire in 1943. They moved their family to Torrance California in 1952. Allie was a housewife taking care of their five children. Walter died in 1964 and Allie married Cecil James (Jack) Kelly in 1966. Allie and Jack became apartment managers in 1967. The first building they managed was Shibui Apartments on Sepulveda in Torrance. Next they moved to Lomita where they managed Narbonne Plaza then moved next door and managed Narbonne Lanai. They both were well liked and became close friends with their tenants. Jack died in 1980 and Allie moved to Ladera Heights where she managed an apartment for 20 years until her retirement in 2001. Allie loved to sew for her grandchildren and embroider tea towels. Allie was preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie Sue Hall in 1999, Brothers Albert Perry, JR Perry, Ralph Perry, John (Moonie) Perry, Sisters Essie Perry and Delia Perry. She is survived by her two brothers Roy Perry of Surprise Arizona and Earl Perry of Norman Oklahoma. By her children Donald McGuire (Wanda) of Rancho Cucamonga, Roy Gene McGuire (Marcie) of Rupert Idaho, Judi Hironymous of Hawthorne, CA, Penny Colgrove (Michael) of Lomita CA., 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
