Bennett, William Retired from East York Board of Education

In his 85th year, William Bennett passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Friday, July 2, 2010. Dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret (Oct 1994), beloved uncle of Betty Pristol & Joan Honeyford, beloved great uncle of Kim and family and Rick Honeyford. Predeceased by his siblings John, Emily, Joe, Martha, George and Minnie, all of Northern Ireland, dear life long friend of Bertie and Mary Brown. Dedicated member of the L.O.L., Sir Henry Wilson # 2898. Also a member of 3 social clubs. Bill was a faithful member of Clairlea Park Presbyterian Church. Resting at the GIFFEN-MACK “DANFORTH” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave., (at Main St. subway), 416-698-3121, on Tuesday, July 6th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 with an Orange Lodge service at 8 P.M. A funeral service will be held in the Giffen-Mack Chapel on Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.
