We were shocked to learn of William's death and Tim's as well ; they both were great guys with a great sense of humour. We truly wish that someone had let us know so we could have paid our respects. William taught me how to make the best Curried Chicken and Potato - never as good as his though. I love my sister and although we hadn't been in close contact for the past few years I cried most of the day ; I cannot begin to imagine the pain Colleen went through. I tried to phone her yesterday but phone is disconnected. Colleen, if you read this please phone me.

I’m sorry for what you went through in the end and for your early call from this life.  I would like to thank you for being there for my brother and I at certain times when even our biological father was not.  I thank you for the care you gave my mother.  I thank you for the great love you had for your grandchildren and your great grand child, Marie.   Marie will miss “Pops” holding her and giving her whatever she wants.  I am thankful that you lived life long enough to meet and enjoy her presence with such pride.

Life is weird, who would’ve thought that, that young man from Guyana in 1977 who had met my Canadian, 10 years older and Catholic mother would then marry with an instant family of two step children already half your age! Who would’ve thought you would’ve become a grandfather at the age of 32 and a great grandfather at the age of 58!

Yes life is weird, but it is also weirdly wonderful how you brought GREAT MAGIC to our Christmases each year........This I thank  you mostly for, as there are no words to describe the deep family love that we all shared at that time of year....... I am looking forward to many more magical Christmases with our family in heaven......

My sincere condolences to the Balgobin family. William and I have been friends for many years. I enjoyed playing music with him and I will forever treasure the moments we had together. God's gain is our loss. Rest in Peace my dear friend. You will be missed.

Still in shock uncle Billy is gone.  Always good memories and good times anytime uncle Bill came around to hang with my brother and myself.  He will be missed for sure but I will continue to keep telling the good stories of him to let his name live on. May you Rest In Paradise with the other good people and loved ones that are gone. Willie we miss and love you so much. You've been there for us in so many ways. You were such a loving and caring person. You have a heart of gold. We will also miss your cooking. My dear baby brother, I will miss you and I grieve for you. We hope you're surrounded by much love, and we enjoy the happiness and joy you brought to us.

Whatever I will say about our Uncle Bill will be less. He was an amazing, renowned tabla and dholak player. He played music with passion and he has a vast knowledge in music. He was also very spiritual person. He was a great cook, he could make anything and everything taste good. He knew how to party and be the centre of the party. You had a different sense of humor which we all grew to love. You  will be so missed, I still can't believe you are no more. Love you very much Uncle bill.

One of the most talented dholak player that I ever seen. His knowledge of music was vast as the deepest ocean. One of  the most humble person to be around also the funniest. Sleep in peace and play for the god and goddess until.

Our Loving Pops will be sadly missed by all those that loved him. May he be resting peacefully now in the loving arms of his Mother and keeping good company with his Step son Tim. We will always remember you, the music, the laughter and love you have shown us all.
