Peacefully passed away on Tuesday June 19, 2012 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in his 88th year. Beloved husband of June. Devoted father of Harold and his wife Lauren. Cherished grandfather of Natalie (Lee Pearce) and Craig, and great grandfather of Jack. Ernie’s charm, kindness and sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends may call at the TRULL “NORTH TORONTO” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) on Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 o’clock. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Sunnybrook Foundation Veterans’ Wing would be appreciated.
