Mr. Walter Emmett "Wally" Brooks

February 9, 1942 – December 11, 2014

Passed Away after a lengthy illness. With always a positive attitude he bravely battled. Wally was the devoted husband of Etelle, and stepfather to Chelsea and Adam. Loving Papa to his dear little ones Eden and Katie, who he absolutely adored. Predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Sidney. Brother to his sister Janice and brother and brother in law to Gerry and Sally. Wally’s career in the financial area spanned decades in both Toronto and Vancouver. He was always a gentleman with a friendly and outgoing personality that made everyone around him happy. He was eternally optimistic and had a joie de vivre second to none. Everyone will always remember Wally with his dashing good looks and the twinkle in his eye. He will be sorrowfully missed by his family and friends. Friends are invited to visit at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street (South of Wellesley St.) on Sunday December 14th from 2 p.m. – 4p.m. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday December 15th at 2 p.m. at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home in the Coach House Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Sick Kids Foundations would be greatly appreciated by our family.
