Suddenly, at home, surrounded by his children, Vincenzo, in his 86th year, passed away on January 15, 2016. Vincenzo is the beloved husband of the late Teresa. Loving father of Joe (Wendy), Marianna (Ron), Agostina, Antonietta (Bob) and Vicky. Dear Nonno of Theresina, Meghan, Vincent, Michael, Nicole, Joshua, Brianna, David and Alyssa. Dear brother of the late Salvatore Scavuzzo, and brother-in-law of Salvatore's wife Ignazina, and dear brother-in-law of Nick Scalisi and his wife Maria. Vincenzo will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews and all who knew him.

Family and friends will be received at the GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave., (at Main St. subway station), 416-698-3121, on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 in the Giffen-Mack Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that day,

God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.

You did not go alone.

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,

Your love is still our guide.

And although we cannot see you,

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.
