Vera Anita Burnett

Loving sister of the late Erskine Rawlins and Berna Ernetta, Ruben, Margery, Ursille, Joan and Pearl Burnett. Survived by Clinton and Rena Burnett.

Loving Mother to her son David Burnett. Cherished grandmother of David Nurse, Cassandra and Alisha Burnett. Adored aunt of Trevor, Mariette and Maurice Edey. Wendell, Gerda, Michelle, Angela, Jennifer and Diane Burnett. Janet Cox and Ian Gill, Carl, Valencia, Ferdinand, Neil and Greg Rawlins, as well as a great aunt to many.

Vera was a wonderful friend of Maud Winters, Joyce McCollin, Joyce Benskin, Desadine Nurse and many more. Vera will be laid to rest at Pine Hills Cemetery on September 9, 2023.

A visitation for Vera will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, ON M1K2B5. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM, in the Chapel. A burial at Pine Hills Cemetery will occur following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vera's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
