Thomas Mullins, passed away suddenly from a massive stroke at Michael Garron Hospital on Saturday, November 12, 2022. He was born in October 21, 1947 in Greenspond, Newfoundland and lived in Toronto for most of his 75 years. He worked at The Global and Mail for many years and he retired at age 68 from the Royal Canadian Legion. He enjoyed the little things in life: drinking too much coffee; speed reading western and intrigue suspense books; playing LOTTO Max with encore and crossword scratch tickets; completing endless word searches; watching his favourite tv programs, such as, Hudson & Rex, NCIS, sports and all the game shows; and chatting about current news with his family and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Brenda Mullins, his brother Ambrose Mullins and his sisters Bonnie Peddle and Sarah Burry. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters: Dawn Fried and Amber Mullins; his grandchildren: Ethan Fried and Emily Fried; his siblings: Martha Sheppard, William Mullins, Winnifred Grey, Gertruth Dunaway and Llewellyn Mullins: and many brother- in-laws, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and awesome friends. Visitation and Funeral will be at Giffen Mack and Trull Funeral Home. Visitation will be on November 21, 2022 4-8pm and Funeral Service will be on November 22, 2022 at 11am. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Reception will be after the interment at Mercy City Church (100 Halsey Avenue).
