Theresa Margaret McIntyre

With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Theresa Margaret Laidley-McIntyre, 67, of Pickering, Ontario, on January 18, 2025. Theresa was predeceased by her loving parents, Anne and Charles Laidley, and her brother-in-law, Gary. She is survived by her devoted husband, Steven McIntyre; her cherished sons, Steven and Jeffrey; her adored grandchildren, Mason, Kaylie, and Chase; and her beloved mother-in-law, Margaret Violet McIntyre. She is deeply missed by her sisters Anne, Diane, Christine, Lisa, and Tammy, her sister-in-law Debbie, and her many brothers-in-law. Theresa leaves behind a large extended family, including countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Her beloved pets, Molly and Salem, also mourn her loss.

Theresa dedicated over 35 years to the Ministry of Community and Social Services, where her passion for helping others shone brightly. After retiring in 2016, she embraced the opportunity to enjoy life alongside her husband, sons, family, and pets.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home located at 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., immediately followed by a service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Theresa’s kindness, love, and warmth touched the lives of so many, and she will be remembered always with love and gratitude.
