Ross, Susan (Ferguson), (1968-2022)- On Thursday November 10, 2022, after a 2-year battle with cancer, Susan Ross (Ferguson) passed away. Susan was predeceased by her parents, Connie Ferguson (nee Hoey) and John Ferguson, and her brother Shawn M Ferguson. Loving wife of Blake Ross and cherished mother of Jake Michael Ross, both of whom will miss her dearly. Susan will also be missed by her brother in-law Brent Ross and his wife Susan, as well as her sister in-law Susan Ross and her partner Bryan Tompson. Susan was a loving Aunt to Brianne Ross, Ashley Lauria (nee Ross) and her husband Sean Lauria. Susan was also a great-aunt to their children, Brennan and Everly Lauria. Susan graduated from St. Joseph’s College School, after which she attended Centennial College. She led a successful career as an insurance broker before seeking an early retirement to spend her days with her son. Susan will be remembered for her sense of humour, her perseverance, and her political engagement. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects on Saturday November 26 at the Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home at 2570 Danforth Ave. There will be a viewing (1-3PM), followed by a service at 3:00PM. After, you are invited to a celebration of life for Susan which will be announced at the end of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s honour can be made to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.
