Suddenly at her residence on November 12, 2011 at the age of 57. Loving mother to Leona. Dearest Nanna to Brook, Brandon and Brianna. She will be greatly missed by her brother Danny and by her many friends in East York. Friends will be received at GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main St. subway), 416-698-3121, on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.

God saw Susan was getting tired

When a cure was not to be.

So He wrapped His arms around her

And whispered “Come to Me”

In tears we saw her sinking,

We watched her fade away.

Our hearts were truly broken,

She fought so hard to stay.

But when we saw her sleeping,

Peacefully and free from pain,

We could not wish her back,

To suffer that again.

So keep your arms around her, Lord,

And give her special care,

Make up for all she suffered,

That seemed to us unfair.

So many times we’ve needed her.

So many times we’ve cried.

If love could have saved Susan,

She never would have died.
