Passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her loving husband James. Dear mother of devoted son Andrew John and the late Mark James. Sister of June Turner (Clifford) and the late Jack. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews from around the continent. Shirley was a longtime member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir for 46 years. Friends may call the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 115 St. Andrews Rd., Scarborough.
