I never met Salvatore but heard about him from his brother Bruno so sending condolences to Salvatore’s entire family and praying for strength as you go through this difficult journey. Always remember the good times you had together and hopefully this will help you get through this. Bruno, my heart goes out to you and unfortunately we won’t be able to attend the funeral as we’re still down in Florida. God bless all of you!

I grew up with Sal on Winnett for over 20 years when we were young. He had that memorable smile almost every single day. He was very loyal to all family and friends and would do anything to make others happy. My sincerest condolences to the entire extended family and I’m sure you all know what a special person we all had in our lives for such a short time. Sal will be greatly missed but he left a legacy that will last forever.

Sal was a true gentleman and an amazing husband and father. He will be missed so much but his memory will live on in his children and grandchildren. His impact on everyone he met will be felt for years. You always felt so much love in his presence and he always gave you the best hugs.  He always had something kind to say to Steph and Vanessa.  Heaven definitely gained a true angel.  I hope you can find comfort in knowing how many people were touched by his sweet soul.

My dearest condolences to the family . I'm so sorry for your loss . Ive only known Sal for a short period of time .  He worked with me at Marshview and I would see him in the halls everyday .  You would never think he was sick ,  always so friendly and happy with a smile on his face .  He talked so highly of his family , wife , son, grandkids and daughter .  He was soo excited and proud of his daughter who would be having a baby and shared photos of the reveal.  He enjoyed the kids at Marshview and made connections with them by saying hello everyday.  He always complimented us how good we were with the kids . I will miss his presence . May he rest in paradise! You truly have an Amazing Angel looking over his family .

We will all miss Sal’s warmth and friendship which we felt whenever we interacted with him in the neighbourhood.  He was clearly a devoted husband to Silvana, and he adored his children.  Sal was the best neighbour anyone could have (and I know this because I lived next door to him for decades).  Rest well my friend, knowing that you did your job well while you were on this earth. Condolences to all his family and friends who couldn’t help but love him.

Sal was a wonderful man! My time as a student at the TTC was made more easier with Sal in the picture. He was a light in my day, and we shared many good laughs and many fun stories. He will be truly missed. Thanks for the cafeteria hang outs.

Dear Sylvana and family, our hearts broke when we got the news of Sal's passing. He has left a large hole on Cornelius Pkwy. When Sal was angry, everyone knew it..lol..but he would be the first one to shout about his love for his wife ( constantly commenting on how beautiful and loving she is) and how proud he was of his kids and grandkids!  He is missed by the community and left a hole that can't be filled.. RIP SAL, we will go for coffee in yorkdale in honor of your memory!
