Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at his home with his family by his side at the age of 89. Salvatore is survived by his loving wife Alda of 61 years. Beloved children Mary and her husband Sam, Lena and her husband Tony & Robert and his wife Dulce. Cherished grand children Virginia, Patricia, Laura, Giulia, Mark, Daniela, Nadia & Alessia and one great grand daughter Gianna. Predeceased by his brother Giovanni. Friends may visit the Jerrett Funeral Home 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (one block East of Dufferin) on Thursday from 6:30-9:00 pm and on Friday from 2:30-4:30 & 6:30-9:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, 1041 Bloor Street W., on Saturday October 1, 2011 at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
