Sadako Nakamoto

NAKAMOTO, Sadako Ellen (Sadie) - of Toronto, Ontario, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 28th, just 12 days short of celebrating her 93rd birthday. She was born in West Vancouver and moved to Toronto where she met and married Barry Kazuo Nakamoto. She was an active member of St. Andrew's Japanese Anglican Congregation and an exuberant resident of Momiji Health Care Society. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Lynda (Ed): son Darryl (Sue Ann); brother David Kobayakawa (Sharon); sister Lillian Nakamura (Kazuo); sisters-in-law Akiko Kobayakawa (Con), Tossie Oka (Kiyo), Aiko Takeda (George) brothers-in-law Dennis Nakamoto and Harry Nakamoto (Ev); her many nephews; nieces, great-nephews, great nieces; Hetty the dog. and the many friends that she has made throughout the years Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 3 at Trull Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Avenue(east of Donlands) from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 4 at 1 p.m. at St. David's Anglican Church, 49 Donlands Avenue.
