Rodney George Soundy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Rodney Soundy who passed away peacefully at home on October 2nd, 2024 after a very short battle with Cancer. He is survived by his 5 children whom he adored. Cheryl, Robert (Mayumi), Rodney(Amanda), Justin (Maria) and Amanda (Raymond). Rodney was a loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren ; Dylan, Kyle , marissa, Braydon,Hayden, Emma, Noah, Camryn, Johnny, Mackenzee,Tyler, Karter and Arya. and a Great Grandfather to Oliver, Liam and Charlotte. He will forever be remembered as the hardworking, kind hearted and humorous man that he was! He is predeceased in death by his parents Leonard and Eva Soundy (Nee Cardinal) He was the youngest sibling to the late Robert, Barbara (Peter) Gail(Allen) Garry and the late John. Rodney will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews, friends and co workers at G.H Johnson’s Furniture Company where he dedicated 40 solid years of his life!

A visitation for Rodney will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
