Rita Moreira Ribeiro

Rita Moreira Ribeiro was born on February 19, 1935 in Aguçadoura, Póvoa de Varzim, Porto, Portugal and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 5, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 87 years.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Manuel Gomes Da Costa Ribeiro.

Rita is survived by her 7 loving children, their spouses, her many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be forever loved, remembered and missed by all of her family and friends in Canada and in Portugal.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 3pm-7pm.

Following her wishes, Rita will be taken back to her homeland for the Funeral Mass at Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Boa Viagem, followed by the burial at Cemiterio de Aguçadoura, in Aguçadoura, Póvoa de Varzim, Porto, Portugal.
