Rita De Vuono (Oliverio)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother and nonna on Monday November 26, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Zaccaria. Caring and devoted mother of Mary (Sergio) and the late Franca. Proud Nonna of Zaccaria and Giancarlo. Rita will be lovingly remembered by her brother Italo (Matilde) and her many nieces and nephews here in Toronto, as well as in Italy and California . Predeceased by her brothers Vittorio (Elisa), Franco (Emilia) and sister Maria (Giovanni). Rita was an exemplary mother and grandmother. In her life she strove for perfection, wanting to set a perfect example for us all. Throughout her long illness she became the embodiment of Christian suffering. We would like to thank family and friends who called and came to visit her. Special thanks to her nurse, Birikti, who throughout the course of the illness managed to bring comfort. She was a blessing and an angel incarnate. A gift from God, for both Rita and her family. Family and friends may visit the Delmoro Funeral Home 61 Beverly Hills Drive, Toronto, Ontario (1 block south of Wilson and west of Jane) on Thursday November 29, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday November 30, 2012 at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church (2 Richardson Avenue Toronto, Ontario).
