It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Richard Paul Sherwood who passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on December 18, 2020. Born January 19, 1939 in East York, Toronto. The Beloved son of Walter and Elaine (née Brint). He is survived by his wife Pat and son Scott, brother Ron and Mary and sister Linda Hamilton. Richard is predeceased by his sister Marilyn and brother-in-law Jim Munslow, brother’s Robert (Bob), Walter Jr. (Sonny) and cousin David Juffs. Richard will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and dear friends. A Private Visitation and Funeral Mass will be held by invite only, due to the current restrictions. Although the family wishes that you could be with them during their time of loss, they appreciate your kind words and condolences. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation in the name of Richard to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would greatly be appreciated. A public Celebration of Life for Richard will be held at a later date.
