Philip John Dunn

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Philip (Phil) J. Dunn on July 1st, 2021. He leaves his daughters Amythist and Sapphire, parents Janet and Michael Dunn, siblings Christine (Craig), Dave (Ercris), Marianne, Barb Lai (Herb), Melanie Schuller ( Brad), Sue Boles (Scruff) and Joanne Schuller. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his partner Sherry and her children Ashlie, Ched, Anna and Sky. He will also be fondly remembered by Amythist's and Sapphire’s mothers Liz and Charlene and her children Mallory, Donald and grandchildren.

Philip was wonderful, kind, compassionate and giving in so many ways, he was a proud Indigenous man: one of his proudest moments was working with the community at Na-Me- Res. He worked for Na Me Res for over 10 years, he was a cook before becoming a Client Care Worker. He was really in his element when cooking and was known for his delicious bannock. Philip loved being outdoors surrounded by nature and the beauty of Mother Earth. He was most proud of his two daughters. When he spoke of them or was around them he beamed with love.

We will all miss him as his Spirit journeys forth.
