Hi my name is Calvin and I work for a health centre in downtown Toronto. I have known Peter for quite a long time, 15 yrs +. I didn't know him as a friend, but I showed an interest in helping him and would ask how he was doing on a regular basis, and offer my assistance from time to time. He was too proud to be seen amongst his peers asking for help. I believe he appreciated my efforts as he would always call out my first name in a melodic voice. I enjoyed his greetings as they could happen anywhere when I was in his community. He was the only person I have met anywhere to do this with me. He was well liked amongst his peers and community downtown as he was never seen to behave in a way that would offend people. He was a very polite pleasant man who kept his cards close to his chest. I will miss him and the pleasant greetings that would sometimes come from nowhere.
