Paulo Alves

Paulo has been reunited in Heaven with his beloved father, Manuel.

He is the beloved son of Maria, loving brother of Elisa (Joe), David (Lisa) and cherished uncle of Daniel, Nicole, Clara and Catherine.

Paulo will be dearly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

He will be forever remembered, loved by all of his family and friends.

Paulo was a very sweet gentle soul, who always had a smile on his face and enjoyed making others laugh. In greeting his nieces and nephew they knew they could count on a 'tickle' from their Uncle Paul. He loved spending time with his family and reading his comic books. His favourite super hero was Superman but he also enjoyed all things Marvel and DC. He took great pride in his large collection of superhero figurines and talking about each one sharing his extensive knowledge of their superpowers. His other passions included, video games and tinkering around with his train sets. He always looked forward to cherished moments spent with his nieces and nephew, lovingly sharing his excitement and passion for all things superheros.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend the visitation or the funeral service, however, if you are able to wear a mask please do so.

The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 10am at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 1481 Dufferin St. (On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church arriving 15 minutes prior to the service, this will allow the family some private time prior to the service.)

Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W.

In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Paulo Lameiro Alves be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
