Passed away peacefully on the 11th of April 2024. Norman Matthias Gill of Toronto, Ontario was 62 years of age. He was predeceased by his mother Rita Gill; his three aunts Lily Gill, Margaret Gill, and Amy Adam; his two uncles Albert Gill and Gilbert Gill and also his grandfather Edmund Gill, who Norman used to call dad.
Norman was born to his mother Rita Gill in 1961. He grew up in downtown Toronto. Norman loved to spend most of his time doing ventriloquism down on Young Street, where Norman loved to make children and adults laugh. Norman loved singing the song he made up on his own. His song was called “You Gotta Believe”. Norman also loved reading God’s word or memorizing verses from the Bible. Norman loved the Lord with all heart and soul.
Norman will surely be missed by everyone who knew him. Norman leaves to mourn his twin brother Johnny (Judy). To Norman, Johnny was more than a brother, Johnny was his Guardian Angel. Also his sister Betty (Wayne) and his niece Stephanie and family. Norman thought the world of Stephanie. She was his pride and joy and also step-nephew, Rodney. When we would go to see Norman he would ask “How’s Rodney doing?” Norman used to worry about everyone besides himself and he loved to pray all the time too.
