Passed away peacefully on May 8, 2012 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Kenneth Lovern (deceased). Loving mother of Gerald "Buster", Linda, Roy (deceased). Devoted grandmother to Jennifer, Sherri, Ken, and Great-Grandmother to Nathan. Muriel, a 12th generation Canadian, will be remembered for her kind, caring and generous spirit and missed more than words can ever express. She enjoyed her family, friends, church fellowship, cooking and crafts. Family and friends are invited to visit Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough, on Friday, May 11 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 717 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough, at 11am. Burial to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.
