Mrs. Mary Sandina Berghella Keefe

Passed away quietly in her sleep on Thursday January 8th, 2015 in her 99th year at New Horizons Towers Residence in Toronto. Mary was predeceased by her two husbands, each of whom she had the pleasure of spending 20 years with, Maurice Keefe (d. 1986) and Walter Mudry (d. 1954). She was the beloved mother of Russell Mudry of St. Catharines and the late Andrea “Patty” Mudry (d. 2006). Proud Grandmother of Natalie Fawcett (John Lee) and Tanya Fawcett (Pierre-Pascal Gendron) as well as Great Grandmother to Pascale, Sebastian, Maxime and Alexander. She is survived by her brother, Michael Colamotto. Predeceased by her sisters Grace Stine and Rose Waring and brother Joseph Colamatto. Loving Aunt to many caring nieces and nephews in both the Colamatto and Keefe families. She will also be missed by many dear friends with special mention of those that supported her almost every day for the last few years of her incredible independent life, Barbara, Evelyn, Cathy, Carol and Larry. Her family is grateful for the loving care and attention that was given to her by all of the nursing and support staff at New Horizons during the past few months.

Visitation will be held at TRULL FUNERAL HOME, (2704 Yonge Street, Toronto) on Sunday, January 11th from 2pm until 4pm. A Funeral Mass will be at ST. MONICA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, (44 Broadway Avenue, Toronto) on Monday at 10am. Burial at Mt. Hope. Online condolences can be made at www.trullfuneralsyonge.com
