Peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with illness on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
Survived by his mother Danna Gilmore, sister Shannon Johnson (Glenn), niece Amy, nephew Jacob and best friends Joseph Garito and Peter Boby.
Predeceased by his father John Gilmore.
Mark spent many years as an avid volunteer in the Gay & Lesbian community.
Mark's family wishes to thank Dr. Lieberman and the staff of 10 South at Mount Sinai for all the care the gave to Mark during this time.
