Soares, Maria Lina- (Teacher, Librarian at St. Joseph’s Convent School, Dar Es Salaam)-passed away peacefully at the Mariann Home, Richmond Hill on Tuesday morning December 15, 2015 in her 107th year. Maria, loving wife of the late Peter Soares. Dear mother of Denis (Belinda), Eileen (Bruno) and the late Ivan. Cherished grandmother of Sharon and the late Duane, Andrea, Evelyn and Peter. Great grandmother of Shaun, Tyler, Aidan, Emma, Castiel, Gillian, Eric and Courtney. Friends may visit at the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 6191 Yonge Street, North York (South of Steeles Avenue) on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday December at 10 a.m. at St. Lukes Roman Catholic Church, 39 Green Lane, Thornhill. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The Soares family would like to thank Mariann Home for their loving care.
